2005 Frederick Marathon - May 1

Well, Val decided to take a rain check to prepare for her Tri, so Chris ran the half with me. I made 2 PRs - longest distance, and fastest time per mile. Weather was COLD and windy at the start, hot, sunny and windy by the time I started at the half. I was clicking 13/mi until the last three, which were terrible (16+).

They screwed up our names, but here are the results (I have fixed the names):

*sigh* Dead last for the men... 90% uneven gravel trail. Very hilly. Very muddy. Weather was beautiful - mid 60s and sunny.

Ran with Lauren. Also running Chris (DNF - pulled quad) and 25 other AOLers. It was VERY hilly. Quite cold. Wes came out to cheer us on! That time is an early gift... it was more like 1:24!
